Here we go!

All the new airline regulations and charges are complicating the packing process around here. At $30 a bag round trip, we are trying to avoid having to check in alot of luggage..and with all the medical stuff we need to bring, that is no easy task. But, it is all coming together and Lord willing, at this time tomorrow we will be arriving at the Give Kids the World resort where we are staying. We are very thankful that everyone is healthy and excited to go.
It is hard not to let anxiety catch up with us. There is SO much to consider when packing for this many complicated children. We are trying to let go of the basic stuff--there is always a Target around the corner..if we happen to forget something basic, we will just go to the store. So now, with the help of Nancy and Sarah, our helpers, and PHS and Make a Wish, we are concentrating on the important (not easy to find medical supplies) that we need to bring along. I think we are in good shape. I'll talk to you soon and update you when we are in Florida!

Last Minute Update:
We have been waiting for our new Visa cards to arrive. I activated them and went to sign mine. Instead, I accidently signed Mark's card. Not good. Now Mark won't have a Visa card during the trip.
And then to top it off, we have been waiting to pick up a letter from the doctor authorizing us to take all kinds of liquid meds and syringes etc...on the plane with us. Mark left to go pick up the letter this afternoon. He had a few other stops along the way but this was the most important stop. At 7pm tonight, I asked if he put the letter in the carry on bag---the look on his face told all! He forgot to pick up the letter! And now the clinic is closed...
Things have to get better than this...
