Give kids the world--an understatement!

Wow....we really had no idea what to expect when we arrived at Give Kids the World in Florida. We expected a nice room to stay that would work for us and some nice people at the front desk. What we got, was something beyond what you would believe! Activities, food, food and some more food, more activities and so much fun. If you look at their website on the internet, you will see the carousel, pools, and trains, but what you don't see is what makes this place so spectactular....the people that make this place possible. It takes 1200 volunteers a week to run  this place and you see everyone of them! They serve you food, open the doors for you, take your picture with the characters, shower the kids with gifts and assist with everything you could imagine. I have given up on trying to do something for myself here--the volunteers take there jobs seriously--making this a stress free magical vacation!
We have been to Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Today we are planning to go to Sea World. The kids are doing well. Elijah is doing great--he loves the carousel here at the resort. We had a great time on the Safari at Animal Kingdom.
The adults will need a vacation after this vacation! This trip is really beyond your wildest imagination. It is incredibly humbling to see all the amazing people who have given of their time to serve families who have kids with life threatening illnesses. We are so blessed to have this opporunity to be here!
