Not dirtbiking, but yet another high adventure sport that our boys would love to do more of..
Okay, so I asked Brennan to give me a topic for a blog entry and that is what he said...ooohhh uhhhh ummmm dirtbiking. So here goes my attempt at insight into the topic of dirtbirking. I wish that some of my boys weren't so daring! It seems that they are wired for speed and danger. How do we has Moms balance their need for speed along with our need for keeping them alive at least until they are adults? I know the more I say no to any of those high action sports, the more I find them jumping off the garage roof, or engaging in other less supervised "sports."
Dirtbiking does remind me of spring and with the beautiful weather we are having today--I am really happy to be envisioning summer days with kids out doing the things they love. I am getting tired of being inside trying to come up with creative activities that we can all participate in. We have tried new recipes, played board games, did science experiments, read books, watched American Idol together, played with trains, played with trains and then we broke out the trains and played with them...Okay, so we all need to get outside! Think Spring!!
