My friend Sarah is doing amazing work in India with disabled orphans. I just met Sarah through the web but I feel like I have known her heart for a long time. She is new to this work and it is amazing what she has done for the lives of 42 orphans who were the "least of the least" in India. On her website, which you can link to by clicking of "Operation Princesses" to the right, you can read all about her ministry. And there are two ways that you can help if you feel called as I did. There is a paypal link on the side to donate money. Also, we have been asking Sarah what other things she needed for the kids.
Today she shared a beautiful need for the girls. Frilly dresses, earrings etc.. You can read all about it on her website. If you have anything that you would like to donate it, let me know I will collect any items you may have and arrange to get them to her.
From the day I first learned about Sarah and her kids, I could not get them out of my mind. We have so much here and these kids still need such basics--like surgeries, and medical tests and the need to feel beautiful--thus the beautiful dresses and jewelry. A warning--you will not be able to get these beautiful faces out of your mind when you see them. So, if you can help, please do! What an incredible difference you can make in a life.
I really, really want to go over to India to help some day--want to come with?

Our God is so smart, isn't He?
I know it sounds so simplistic, but sometimes we spiritualize things way too much. On this beautiful sunny morning, I have been thinking of how smart God is. He knows how the sunshine affects us...duh, he created us. I can't help but to see His light shine upon us in the sunshine...yet another way He makes himelf known to us. The hope and joy that we find on a sunny day in the midst of lots of cloudy ones reminds us of his promises...Thanks Lord for sunshine. May it touch those who really need a ray of hope today!
