Easter Pics

We had one of the best Easter Sundays that I can remember. It was relaxed and focused on family, faith and fun. I ordered our dinner from Target. Easter Brunch for 10 for $54.99--what a deal. It came with a spiral ham, quiche, cheese spread and crackers, raspberry parfaits, blood orange italian soda, coffee, asiago cheese salad, and a strawberry rhubarb pie. It was easy to prepare and no stress...
For the 1st time in my 46 years of life, we didn't get a chance to dye our eggs. I have decided that tradition is only good if it doesn't added undo stress to life. This year, we just didn't have the time...and life went on. We hid the white ones along with a whole bunch of plastic eggs. It was so beautiful outside and so we had the easter egg hunt outside.
What a great day...

Not just an ordinary life..

When I titled this blog, "...not just an ordinary life," I really wasn't thinking of my family and our "out of the ordinary" life. I was thinking of Jesus Christ who was not just a "good man" or a "great teacher", but instead he is God. And on this Easter day, I just wanted to make sure that I have told you that--our incredible, faithful, compassionate, loving God who not only rules the world but loves each of us individually as if we were the only ones on earth. It was He who came to us as a man--that is such an amazing reality when you really spend time considering what the incarnation really means.
He is risen! He is alive! May your Easter be filled with the humble and triumphant adoration of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
