Our prayers were answered...

We sought clarity in our decision making over this past weekend. We spent the weekend in prayer regarding the adoption we were considering. And we believe our prayers have been answered. With such clarity and peace, we both feel that this decision has already been made by God. We are thrilled to anounce that we are proceeding with our adoption of our sweet little Maisy Grace.
We have already begun our retraining on the ventilator and we will be spending as much time as we can at the foster home to get to know her and her cares. We don't have a move in date set--which we are very comfortable with. It seems like many times when we have been waiting for an adoptive placement to move in, we couldn't have it happen soon enough. This transition will take some time and we both feel very comfortable with that.
So many things have happened that have led us to believe that God is truly directing this path in our life---we have found ourselves responding in ways that are uncharacteristic of us. We are comfortable with waiting--that has to be from God!
