Downtown Elk River provided us with some beautiful backgrounds for Tyler's graduation pictures. We had such a good time taking the pictures. I was so happy with the results--they really capture Tyler and his personality. The hardest part of the day was my attempt to hold back the tears as I was taking the photos. How could my first born child be all grown up? As I snapped the pictures, I couldn't help but focus on the scar on his face when he fell off the monkey bars at George Green Park in Anoka...and the little birthmark on the side of his face that reminds of his toddler days when it first became noticable..or his smile that hides all of the deep thoughts that are beneath the surface. At Tyler's baby shower, we read the book, "I'll love you forever." The words in that book are ones I will never forget--I will love you forever, I will like you always. And as long as your living, my baby you'll be...
I am quite sure that his baby shower was just a few years ago...how could 18 years have gone by?
I love this young man beyond words...
