On one of the last nice days in October, I decided I had to get out and take some graduation pictures of Aaron. We had more fun than I ever have had taking pictures. He loved having them taken. When we would put his hands in one position for a pose, he would work so hard to keep them right where we placed them. He was so happy that it was hard to get a good shot where we couldn't see all the way down his throat because he was smiling so big. We had a wonderful time.
One of these pics distinctly looks like the everyday Aaron. The other one could be used as his modeling headshot. I like them both--because he is so much than his photo--and the pics show the mystery of this young man.
After all, if it wasn't for him, I am not so sure we would have so many children--he makes parenting a child with special needs look like a picnic on the beach...always giving us so much more than we have to offer him. Always shining with the light of our Lord.
And I do believe that his eyes reflect the precious beauty of our Savior. God is using his life in such a powerful way through his smile and the joy that he so freely shares.
I couldn't possibly love him more than I do....and to think that my love for him isn't even a fraction of the love that Jesus bestows upon him every day....
