Lord willing, tomorrow we will be on our way to Alabama. With 4 of the kids staying home with a mix of 10 staff people coming in and out, and 4 kids driving with us (somehow the child in Africa seems the most settled of the bunch!) we are ready to meet baby Isaac and bring him home. I will try and update when I can. We are hoping to stop in Springfield, IL on the way down to go to the Lincoln museum there. A few years ago, Tyler, Hope and I took a road trip there right after the museum opened and had a great time. McKenna, Jordan, Brennan and Kaden should also enjoy it.
We would appreciate your prayers for safe travel, healthy caregivers at home, the foster mom and her family as they send Isaac home with their blessings, and for Isaac and a long trip back to Minnesota. Since the paperwork is not yet complete and the finances are not all in, we are truly free falling--trusting that God will land us safely with Isaac in our arms.
