On our way to Alabama, we stopped in Springfield, Illinois to visit the Lincoln Museum and Library. We also toured the home that Abraham Lincoln and his family lived in Springfield. The kids are looking at a penny that is inlaid in the floor at the museum.
We also visited the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta. McKenna fell in love with the Polar Bear and I would have to say it was a mutual attraction. The boys loved to taste all the different varieties of beverages that Coca Cola makes all around the world.
The three boys are standing on a hill in Birmingham not far from the famous iron sculpture that stands tall over the skyline.
We had such a nice time...
I would highly recommend the trip to Springfield, Illinois. There is so much to see and learn..not far from their are the Cahokia Indian Mounds that are very interesting as well. It is worth a road trip!
