There is just something about the transition from a crib to a big bed that makes the whole family rally together to reflect about how quickly time goes by. Maisy was an "accident waiting to happen" in her crib--as she made it her life mission to propel herself over the top of her crib. We knew it was time to move her to a big bed. The boys helped to put the new bed together and she could not have been more proud of herself to be making such a big step in life.
Maisy lives life "large." I had never really given much thought to that term until I met Maisy. She does everything in a big way. The two stuffed animals she loves are much bigger than she is...Po, from the Kung Fu Panda and a giant Elmo...yes, she lives life large in every way..
