The BB gun that my boys wanted was only $11. How dangerous could that be, I thought? We have lots of space to shoot a target at our house...and besides, I didn't want to be that overreactive parent yelling, "You will shoot your eye out with that..."
I should have been that parent. Now we have BB sized holes in our siding on all sides of the house. We have an unexplained window that is broken and yesterday I caught them shooting at robins in the yard.
Now all of you experienced parents are thinking...duh..there is no such thing as an $11 BB gun. I should have known. You can smack me next time you see me--I deserve it!
