The herpes blisters on Isaac's hand are very painful. We are trying to stay on top of the pain so that it doesn't get too out of control. He needs to be on oxygen most of the time, but his heart rate remains very high. Poor little guy. We aren't sleeping much because either the alarms are going off or I think I hear the alarms going off even when they are not.
I have had a constant headache in the back of my head for a week now (I rarely get headaches) and so I am glad I have an appointment to see my internist on Tuesday. I have a new insulin pump and will also get that set up so I can start using that this week also. Maisy has a cough and Elijah is sick--we are a bit of a mess around here!
Maisy has major surgery in a few weeks and Elijah has a bone marrow biopsy and dental work under anesthesia at the end of next week--it may seem odd to be thankful that we are all wrecks, but I am so glad that it is this week and not the weeks of the surgeries--God's timing never fails and I will rely on that promise!
Wow, what a boring post and maybe a bit of TMI going on (too much information.) I really want to be able to attend at least some of the Summit for Orphan care that is being held here in Minneapolis next weekend and so I am praying that things will settle down around here.
If you made it to the end of this, thanks for listening to me!
