almost out of Surgery..

The doctors just came out to tell us that they are just finishing things up in the operating room. It sounds like the worked primarily on the back and top of her head. It seemed to go more as expected because the back part of the skull was not as abnormal as the frontal parts. The skull bone is still very thick, but not nearly as thick as the frontal parts. We haven't seen her yet. She will go right up to the Intensive care unit when they are done. She went to sleep without much anxiety and was happy to see an operating room full of people. She always enjoys an audience! Each step of this day has been bathed in prayer and we have felt the peace and protection over our sweet Maisy. We are so thankful that we have an amazing God that knows exactly what we need even before we ask for it. Maisy biological parents and a close friend of theirs came up to the hospital today. We had a good visit with them as well. Continue to pray for Maisy as she moves to the ICU. Thank you...
