"Miraculous" Maisy

Maisy was discharged from the hospital yesterday (sorry it has been so busy around here I haven't been able to update.) You would not believe how great she looks after such a huge surgery! Here is her story in pictures:
This is Maisy right before going into surgery on Monday. She is holding a book that Kaden made for her. She a rough night the first night from the morphine and didn't get a good night's sleep. But, this was as rough as it got for her. She came out of surgery with a drain tube, a central line, an arterial line and 3 other IV's in.

This is Maisy on the day after surgery (Tuesday).

This is Maisy on Wednesday just chilling out and watching some TV in the ICU! Keep in mind she has an incision from ear to ear on  her head and her skull was cut and rearranged to make room for her brain to grow. Piece of her own skull were used to partially fill her very large open soft spot in the back of her head.

And here she is on Thursday getting ready to be discharged from the hospital!

To God be the glory!
Thanks so much for your prayers!
And it looks we have a tentative date for permanent decannulation (removal of her trach) on June 7th!
