Isaac

This short video of possible seizure activity is for Isaac's neurologist...and this was the easiest way to get the video clip to him since the office can't accept emails with video attached. So, Dr. Janousek, this is what Isaac has been doing often for the last few days. There are times when his hands jerk and he makes a fist (with both hands) and his head turns all that way to the left..more pronounced than this video shows during this episode of activity. It happens very rhythmically, about every 5 seconds, and for 5-10 minutes an episode. Some form of this almost always occurs right after he falls asleep in the evening. This evening, what you see in the video lasted for about 10 minutes. His right leg has been shaking a lot also-- usually followed by crying.

 He has been very irritable the last several days and we have seen different episodes of seizure like activity. His heart rate has been quite elevated (160-180) and he has required oxygen much more than usual. He is currently at 3.0 mg of valium...we have stopped the wean down until he stabilizes. He has had lots of hiccups that seem to start and stop very quickly at times or can last for 30 minutes or more. He has been to his primary doctor to help rule out an underlying illness..he seems otherwise healthy.
