I ordered the Mpls. St. Paul magazine when a groupon came out for it...I love to read their "Top Docs edition" and I figured this year I would splurge for the subscription for $10 so I could read the top docs at home instead of in the doctor's offices waiting rooms. This edition came in the mail today and Kaden opened it up...to this! An ad for Minneapolis Children's Hospital featuring Maisy. I knew they were going to use her picture somewhere but had no idea where. What a surprise..isn't she sweet?
I am really glad that the hospital uses the photos of actual patients in their ads. She is a great testimony of the incredible cardiac care at Childrens Hospital...every time I think of all that she has endured, I can not help but get choked up. How could I complain about a cold that has taken me down for a couple of days, when Maisy has faced more than 40 surgeries in just three years of life. She is a miracle...and an inspiration.
