Day +200!

• It's day +200 post transplant for Elijah! 200 days have passed since he received his transplant.

• It's been 200 days since a stranger on the West Coast checked herself into a hospital and gave her own life saving marrow to save of a little boy across the Country.

• and for 200 days we have watched God mold us and shape us in ways we had not expected.

• And for 200 days we have found a sense of gratitude and contentment like we have never experienced before. Everything in this world looks more beautiful...more touched by God.

• Each of the 200 days I wake up with one thought on my mind..that my little boy have survived and is thriving..each day I begin with a prayer of  thanks for the life of our sweet Elijah.

• 200 days I have looked into the eyes of my little boy and wondered how it is that I could have been so blessed to be able to be in his life..why me Lord? Why did you bless us so abundantly to have been given such a wonderful bunch of kids to raise?

• 200 days that have changed our life forever..and it is Valentine's Day. I love to have fun on Valentines day making it a special one at our house. This year, we are in a hospital room instead...there won't be a chocolate fondue, a special meal, or pink milk for breakfast...but there is love. There is love..
