Getting along...

Getting time away each year really helps me to reflect upon the changes in our family over the year.  There is something about taking time out of the daily routine and taking a look at life in a new way. This year has been intense...it has been stressful..but it has been filled with unexpected blessings. Our older boys have grown and matured. Our little ones keep getting bigger and healthier in many ways. It was good to get away for Easter break...

What amazed me most was the tenderness shown between the kids...they care about each other. The blurry picture of the kids along the wall in the center is one of my favorites...they get along, they comfort each other...even when they think no one is watching. But, we feel it..we see it..and it touches our hearts in ways they could never imagine. I am so thankful that they get along and have learned compassion along the way. They are great kids...
