This isn't easy as we have always "prided" ourselves on not asking for help...but within that sentence lies the problem...pride. So we could use help. And if you feel led to help, here are some needs we have for the next few months.
Prayer:
Please lift Elijah in your prayers. The bone marrow transplant process is a difficult and risky one..but one that can potentially save his life. Pray for the amazing team of doctors and staff that are treating him.
Please pray for Elijah's siblings. They will be experiencing many upheavals of their world during the transplant. I will be away for a long period of time and eventually we will rent an apartment near the hospital where Elijah and I will stay after he is discharged. With many of the kids struggling with developmental and emotional delays, all of this can be very difficult on them. They have already lost a sibling and they have very real fears about this. Pray for Tyler as he will be arriving home in August for a short visit but will not be able to go to the hospital. He has been feeling ill and we need to get him to the doctors here while he is home.

Parking and Gas expenses are adding up quickly...gas cards would be a blessing to us.
As a reminder, Elijah can not have any plants in his room. He can have healthy visitors but no more than three people in the room at a time. It would helpful to call ahead 763-228-2245 (Mark) or text me (Julie) at 763-464-1676 to see if Elijah is up for visitors.
